Tidewatch Command

Tidewatch Command is a strategy game that leans on planning over reflexes. You manage a small coastal outpost, laying out defenses and deciding where to spend limited resources before each assault arrives.

What makes it click is how readable the maps are. You can pause, study the incoming threat, and adjust — and a good plan really does pay off. Bad ones fall apart in satisfyingly logical ways.

Later missions get demanding, and a couple of difficulty spikes felt harsh, but the core puzzle of 'how do I hold this line' stayed fun throughout.
