Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is the calm one on this list. It's an adventure game where you explore a small town, solve gentle environmental puzzles, and slowly piece together what happened to the people who lived there.

The art is hand-drawn and lovely, and the sound design does a lot of quiet work. Puzzles are logical without being obtuse — you rarely need a guide, which we appreciated.

It's short, maybe four or five hours, but it's the kind of thing you remember. A perfect wind-down game before bed.
